Reinforce your spelling skills with printable worksheets for: wh - the question words.
Many common question words in English start with wh, like what, when, and where. While these words all begin with wh, they can be a little confusing because the letters don’t always make the sound you’d expect.
In words like what and where, the wh is pronounced as /w/. However, in words like who and whom, it sounds more like /h/.
This can trip you up at first, but once you learn these words, the different sounds will start to feel more familiar. Keep practising and soon you'll find them much easier to use!
