Look and read the word.
Say the word. Click the speaker icon.
Cover the word.
Write the word.
Check your spelling.
This list shows a list of words ending in -ation. When a root word ends in e or y , drop the final letter before adding the suffix -ation. otherwise, just add -ation to the root word
