To get the best out of their time on Spellzone students will be asked to complete a range of practice activities before moving onto course tests.
While on the Starter Course, students will be asked to complete Look, Say, Cover, Write, Check and a game. This feature can be turned off if required by administrators of multi-user accounts.
On the Main Course, students will be asked to complete a range of Learn the Words activities before moving onto course tests. The default is one mandatory activity allowing the student to choose from Look, Say, Cover, Write, Check, Listen and Spell or a spelling game. This can be changed to none, 1, 2, or 3 mandatory activities by administrators of multi-user accounts.
One of the students has put in a huge amount of effort in completing Spellzone at least 3 times a week since his arrival with us in January. Looking at his scores after the latest GL testing, his standardised score has risen from 99 to 131. This is a truly phenomenal result. I just wanted to share the best result I have ever seen.
