John Lewis Partners eager to improve their spelling will be pleased to know that John Lewis Victoria's Learning Centre has taken out a subscription with Spellzone, a comprehensive online English spelling course, for the whole Partnership.
The author, Shireen Shuster, has written many books on spelling and decided to put this experience into planning an online spelling course suitable for adult learners. Learning Centre Coordinator Rebecca Healy said "I believe this is a fantastic resource for Partners. Whether you found spelling hard at school, are dyslexic, or simply wish to finally get those few words that you always spell wrong programmed in your mind , this resource will help. Partners are logging in and using it already and have said the site is easy to use and they love that their families benefit from using our subscription too."
Partners can access Spellzone free of charge from any internet connected computer or device such as their mobile phone at work or from home. Simply visit www.spellzone.com and login with the user name and password provided by the Learning Centre. The course is flexible allowing users to learn at their own convenience.
Rebecca added, "This is a brilliant interactive online resource which helps improve individual's English spelling. This is a great addition to resources already available in the Learning Centre to support Partners with writing skills as well as those who have dyslexia."
The Spellzone course features spelling rules, vocabulary topics, spoken voice recordings, translations in 92 languages and spelling tests to help you learn.

"Thank goodness for Spellzone during this remote learning phase. The site is easy for students to navigate independently and they're really enjoying the activities and spelling games. You get an awful lot for your money with Spellzone. Really reassuring is the very prompt response with helpdesk queries. I've very rarely needed the helpdesk, but when I have, the issue has been addressed and sorted within a very short time."
