Here are April's spelling lists:
 

  1. Words ending in ple

    This month’s spelling pattern is words ending in ple. At the end of a word, the /p l/ sound is usually spelled using the letters ple. Build your confidence with using this spelling pattern in Unit 26 - Word endings: -le, and exceptions e.g. -al-el-ol.
     
  2. Art supplies

    From paints to pastels, this month’s vocabulary list is crammed with arty words to test your spelling. Did you know you can click on any word in a Spellzone word list to go to its dictionary definition?
     
  3. 10 Eggy Words for Easter
