Spelling the short vowel sound /ŭ/ : u, o or ou

/ŭ/ as in umbrella. Spelling Umbrella

Teaching point Most of the time the sound /ŭ/ is spelled with just the letter u.
BUT: sometimes the sound /ŭ/ is spelled with o or ou.
